What do you want to be when you grow up?

Conversation on the way home from Grammy and Grampy’s:

Rylee, age 6 – “I want to be a farmer and take care of animals and sell them”

Caleb, age 5 – “I want to be a race car driver”

Kyler, age 3 – “I want to jump over big mountains!”

Jump

We thought it was interesting to hear what each of the kids said to this question.  Rylee has said that she has wanted to be a farmer for quite some time now.  Who knows how that will play out in life.  Now that I am almost 32, I have some ideas of what I want to be when I grow up, and they don’t usually involve crawling under houses.  I will now pose the question to you, no matter how old you are now…

What do you want to be when you grow up?

I’ve wanted to be a nurse since I was five!! I’m so grateful to be living out my childhood dream 🙂

My five year plan has shifted from time to time, but getting up and padding around the yard before the other’s get up to see what is happening with the green shoots and then coming back inside to see what is happening with the green shoots inside has been fairly consistent. It was good to see some green shoots up close and in person today.

I have always wanted to be a mommmy.
After my children are grown I would love to be a fire fighter, but might be too old by them:)

I don’t ever want to grow up, but if I HAVE to, I want to be who I am!

When I was a girl, I wanted to be a lawyer, naturopath, ballerina, artist, and Mom.
Now that I am grown up I want to be a Mom and someday when I have time I want to take art classes! In the meantime I love drawing with the kids. 🙂 And it consoles me that maybe I can be a ballerina in heaven.
Random, I know…
