I’ve been patiently waiting for the new edition of this book to come out and can’t wait to read it over the summer. Clay and Sally Clarkson and their heart for family, parenting and Jesus have been incredibly influential on me. This book is a tremendous handbook for Christian home educators. And this new edition I’m sure will be ever better than the previous ones with many more years of parenting and educating under their belt. I think this is my next purchase. I am just finishing up Seasons of a Mother’s Heart by Sally Clarkson and it has really spoken to me.
Don’t you just love her writing? Her books have profoundly impacted my mothering. I love that she isn’t afraid to stand up for biblical principles on raising a family even when they aren’t popular. God’s ways are often so very counter-culture.
